The GearHooks Climbing Equipment Wall Storage Racks are designed to store a wide range of climbing equipment in the least space where it is easy to get toquick to put away and safe from damage. The end result looks fantastic and means you can choose the gear you need for each trip quickly and easily.

Ideal for

  • recreational climbers needing to store loads of climbing equipment
  • arbourists or tree surgeons looking to store ropes, harnesses and even chain saws
  • anyone who works at heights and needs to store H&S equipment

There are 2 sizes available depending on how much gear you want to store. Both use a 1 metre long rail.

The CR3-300 has a 1 meter long rail plus 3 x 300mm long double prong GearHooks. One of each listed below.

The CR6-300 has a 1 meter long rail plus 6 x 300mm long double prong GearHooks. Two of each listed below.

12mm gap by 300mm long GearHooks (ideal for clothing, rucksacks, helmets or heavy equipment like chainsaws)

25mm gap by 300mm long (ideal for 2 pairs of skis, 1 snowboard or several ice axes)

45mm gap by 300mm long (ideal for 3 ropes or several carabiners, harnesses etc.)

Equipment can be hung over both prongs (like ropes), between the prongs (like ice axes) or over each prong (like carabiners).

You can always add more GearHooks®  for extra equipment like harnesses, ropes, boots, helmets, backpacks, skis, clothing and other gear, in just a few seconds if you need them. 

The rack is 1M long which is galvanised and powder coated in your choice of colour. Each hook can be fitted anywhere on the rail and be moved up or down to avoid gear colliding.

Specifications

The GearHooks® CR3/6 Climbing Rack includes;

  • 1 x 1M long cold rolled steel rail galvanised and powder coated
  • Your choice of 8 different colours 
  • 2 x black plastic end caps
  • 3 x hex head wall bolts (Allen Key) for wood or plasterboard battens
  • 3 x expanding nylon fixings for brick, block, stone or concrete
  • plus
  • 3/6 x cold formed steel double prong hooks (300mm long, 12, 25 and 45mm gaps) with bright zinc plating to prevent corrosion
  • 6/12 soft rubber sleeves to hold and protect your equipment or plastic end caps on narrow gap hooks
  • 3/6 x CNC machined clamps in Engineering Polymer that is stronger than aluminium
  • 3/6 x M8 sliding nuts to position and adjust the hooks anywhere on the rail
  • 3/6 x M8 hex head bolts (Allen Key) to attach the hooks to the sliding nuts and rail

    A familiar story, just with…..less.

    So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
